OpenAI is sharpening its enterprise strategy, saying business revenue now makes up more than 40% of the company’s total as it expands Codex, Frontier, and its agent-first software vision.
OpenAI has introduced GPT-5.4, rolling the model out across ChatGPT, Codex, and the API as the company pushes harder into professional and agentic AI workflows. The update comes with new performance claims, revised pricing for developers, and expanded access for paid users.
OpenAI said on March 31, 2026 that it closed a $122 billion funding round, then used the announcement to outline a broader strategy centered on compute, enterprise growth, and a unified AI superapp.
